Early 2016 after the #ZariaGenocide, we were driving along Lugard Hall in Kaduna to evade the Nigerian secret police (DSS) that was tailing us, Dr. Shuaibu Musa raised the issue of translating the works of Sheikh AbdulJabbar Kabara to English for our brothers and sisters in Southern Nigeria. It was not easy to hold meetings then as the DSS was always on our toes. They were shadowing us everywhere. We used to hold meetings in the back rooms of Restaurants. The bloodthirsty Sunni extremists in power in Nigeria did everything humanly possible to Destroy us.
